Webinar: Legal – formal frameworks for the business of social enterprises, supportive environment, funding opportunities and practical experience

On June 24, 2020 we are organising online expert-informational day for everyone, who is interested in obtaining the status of a social enterprise (potential social enterprises) or already existing social enterprises.

Matej Verbajs, Head of the Legal Office at the Centre of Non-governmental Organisations of Slovenia will present legal – formal aspects of social enterprise business in the introductory part: social entrepreneurship in Slovenia, characteristics of social enterprises, principles of operation of social enterprises, obligations and benefits of social enterprises.

Following, Miro Mihec from Association Social Economy Slovenia, so.p., will present supportive environment and financing opportunities of social enterprises, and Mojca Makovec Haložan will present practical experience – how and why they decided to establish a social enterprise.

The webinar will take place via video conference tool zoom. All instructions will be sent to registered participants the day before the webinar, and a link to the webinar one hour before the implementation.
